"Salisbury Coalition Against Racism (SCAR) wishes to affirm Salisbury as a welcoming city for people of all ethnicities and nationalities. We believe that racist and xenophobic attitudes and attacks scar our community and wish to stand together with other organisations in the city to oppose them and promote peaceful community relations."



Priority Aims:



1. Promote good community relations throughout Salisbury and South Wiltshire.

2. Raise awareness and celebrate the diverse nature of the community of Salisbury and South Wiltshire.

3. Raise awareness of racism within Salisbury and South Wiltshire.

4. Assist others to raise awareness across Wiltshire and Swindon.

Holocaust Memorial Day

Friday 27th January 2012
Salisbury Cathedral Evensong 5.30 pm
Followed by a parade to Salisbury Playhouse for event including Youth Theatre presentation, starting at 6.30 pm (Entry via free ticket contact SCAR or the Salisbury Playhouse Box Office).

We would like to invite you to join this exciting initiative and ask you to do the following:
